I first met Sheila at an event several months ago, where she approached me to talk about Integrated Energy Therapy (IET). About three months later, I decided to schedule a session with her. Sheila took the time to explain how (IET) works and asked me thoughtful questions to understand my needs.

After my first session, I felt noticeably more relaxed—some of my fears had subsided, and I was in a much calmer state of mind. Encouraged by this shift, I scheduled another session a couple of weeks later. Not long after, I unexpectedly ran into a family member who had emotionally hurt me in the past. Normally, this encounter would have triggered a storm of emotions—anger, frustration, sadness—but this time, nothing happened. I wasn’t upset. I wasn’t overwhelmed. I simply felt at peace.

I shared this experience with Sheila, amazed at the transformation I was already experiencing. That moment solidified my decision to continue treatments with her. After my fourth session, I once again encountered a family member who had caused me pain for decades. Yet, instead of feeling powerless or reactive, I stood in my own strength. The emotional weight I had carried for so long was lifting.

For decades, I endured emotional and physical abuse from family members. When I finally made the difficult decision to remove them from my life to protect myself, they fought to maintain control. Their cruelty went beyond what many can imagine, going out of their way to continue causing harm even as I tried to break free.

Some may understand this kind of manipulation and abuse; others may not. But until Sheila stepped into my life, I didn’t know there could be another way to heal.

I still have a long road ahead toward full recovery, but I now know that healing is possible. There is truly a light at the end of the tunnel. For anyone wondering whether they should try IET—I highly recommend it. Sheila’s work has been life-changing, and I am forever grateful.
